Festive Ice Cubes
Holiday parties can be so incredibly stressful, my advice when planning parties and gathering people in your home is to do things that are simple in preparation but have a big impact. Keeping it simple is what every host needs. I love using festive ice cubes because they are so simple to make, you can prepare them ahead of time and they have a big impact. After I decide on my combo of ingredients, I make my ice cubes a few days before the event and store them in a container in the freezer.
I love festive ice cubes because not only are they pretty to look at they also make your water, punch or cocktail taste better. The fun thing is to experiment with different flavors and combinations. I love this raspberry and rosemary combo, I also like mandarin oranges and cinnamon sticks for whiskey drinks. In this tutorial, I’m using a sage and pomegranate combo.
If you need help with deseeding the pomegranate, check out this video from a few years ago. I hope this inspires you to make from festive drinks and serve them to the people you love in your home.
