If you have kids this post is really for you and the people you gather in your home this time of year. I feel like there is always some sick person in our home. We have two kids that are in daycare; of course, our house is getting infected with parasites.
To combat these parasites and keep sickness at bay I have a cold station in my kitchen. This station includes tissues, hand sanitizer, hand lotion, a cup filled with immunity-boosting teas, and throat lozenges. This way your guests can discretely grab a throat lozenge if they need one. I also feel like it is a discrete way of asking guests to use a tissue and then sanitize after.
You don’t have to keep the cold station in your kitchen, I’ve put it on our coffee table before and it’s worked great. Don’t let the cold weather and cold and flu season keep you from entertaining.
I hope the idea of this cold station inspired you to gather the people you love in your home.
