At-home Chair Workout

Because we all have at least one chair in our house, I figured I’d supply you with a great at-home chair workout. I guess you could do it at work or a restaurant. It would make for a great story I’m sure.

Tri-cep Dips

Stand facing away from the chair. Bend down to a seated position and place your hands on the edge of the chair. Press up, lifting your entire body up till your arms are straight. Lower back down to where your arms are at a 90 degree angle. Repeat until you hit 10.

Chair Steps

Stand facing towards the chair. Hands up at a 90 degree angles at your sides. Step up with your left foot. Your right arm should swing behind you and you left should swing up in front of your face. Arms should remain at 90 degree angles. Step down placing your arms again at your side. Step with your right leg. Left arms swings down and right swings up. Repeat each leg 10 times.

Knee Tucks

Stand facing towards the chair. Place your hand on the edge and walk your feet out until you are in a plank position. Bring your right leg up to your chest and place it back down to start position. Repeat 10 times. Bring your left leg up to your chest and place it back down to start position. Repeat 10 times.

One-legged Lunge

Stand face away from the chair. Place your left leg onto the seat of the chair and bend your right leg down to a 90 degree angle. Lift up back to starting position. Repeat 10 times. With your back still facing away from the chair, place your right onto the seat of the chair and bend your left leg down to a 90 degree angle. Lift up back to starting position. Repeat 10 times.

Chair Push-ups

Stand facing towards the chair. Place your hand on the edge and walk your feet out until you are in a plank position. Go down until your chest is close to the chair. Push back up to a plank. Repeat 10 times.

To complete this workout do each workout 3-4 times. Remember I am not a certified personal trainer, this is simply a workout that I’ve been doing a long time and thought you may enjoy it. Please remember to not push yourself to hard, the last thing I want is for someone to get injured.
