I’ve had a few sleepless nights myself which is why I still can’t process the fact that the summer is over and we are heading into the fall. I’ve put together 4 looks that will help you get through your week. Whether you are a run around mama or a sit at the office mama these looks will work for you.
1. Jeans and a Tee
This simple take on a classic look is all done with a silk scarf. Find a beautiful small to medium size square silk scarf to use as a bandana. I like a mixed print with a variety of color, that way I take one color from the scarf, in this case, green, and find a t-shirt in that color.
2. Maxi and a Crop
Take that fun flowing maxi dress from summer into fall by slipping on a sweater crop top with a beautiful layered necklace you will look polished instantly. You can be lounging at home one minute, throw on some cute shoes, and be out the door in a flash.
3. Button Up and Ripped Jeans
I love how these are opposites. A beautifully polished silk blouse with rugged ripped jeans. Keeping the jeans in a darker color will help you look more polished. Add a comfy pair of classic black flats and you are ready for a lunch date with friends before you have to go pick up the kids from school.
4. Mixed Print and Sweater
You know I love me some mixed prints. Pair any mixed print pants with a comfortable, not overly bulky sweatshirt and you are good to go. I paired my black and white pants with a soft pink top, but I do advice, much like the silk scarf, find a color in your mixed print bottoms that you like and voila there is your outfit.
