As you all know, Thomas is training me for the big Super Spartan Beast obstacle race. On this beast training journey, we’ve done a ton of pull up and push up workout. I’ve done a crazy machine workout, and I’ve documented the entire Beast Training Journey. It has been fun, exhausting, motivating, and simple put an experience.
I am very grateful that Thomas pushed me the way that he does. He is super motivating and never goes easy on me. Sometimes I get so mad at him, usually during the workout because I’m in so much pain. Afterwards I’m always grateful that he pushed me through the workout.
This workout is great because it pushes you to keep going and move beyond the pain. You are completing two different sets of exercises, while your partner is doing leg lifts or scissors. I definitely did not want to leave Thomas doing those leg workout any longer than I had to. This helped me stay motivated and keep moving during the rising step set and burpee set.
