Some people do not LOVE the day of Love like I do. I’m a total softy and am completely in love with love. I attribute this my hubby. Thomas loves me so much I can’t help but be in love with love. However, for all those people who don’t like Valentine’s Day here are three ways to celebrate without getting all mushy. In fact these ideas will have your night ending in something a bit more than romantic, if you catch my drift.
1. Dinner for Two…at Home.
Take some time together to plan a fun menu for Valentine’s Day. Before the big day, grab all the ingredients and things you need to make the dinner. On Valentine’s Day pop open a bottle of wine, turn on your favorite Pandora station and dance around while you prepare a fabulous meal together. If you feel so inclined throughout the dinner making process; and find yourselves tangled up in one another just go with it.
2. Neflix and Undies.
Prepare ahead of time, by stopping at the grocery store and stock up on all your favorite movie snacks. When you get home strip down to your unmentionables and enjoy yummy snacks, a plethora of Netflix goodies, and night full of fun filled “romance”. I’m telling ya, hanging out in your skibbies always leads to a good time.
3. Whisper Sweet Nothings.
Pick a place to go get coffee or a drink or dessert. While you are there…the entire time you are there, whisper naughty little things to one another. I’ll be proud of anyone who makes it through the entire service without rushing out. If you can only make it to the car, not all the way home, again just go with it.
Just go with it.
