It’s a struggle to mentally get yourself to go to the gym, it’s a logistical struggle to get to the gym once you have kids. Am I right ladies!?! Who says you have to be at the gym to work out anyways. Here is a quick and easy, three set workout you can do at home.
Set 1. Leg Extensions.
Get into a plank position on the floor. Put each foot on a plastic plate and simply extend your legs as wide as you can. Go back to the plank position. Repeat until your thighs start to cramp.
Set 2. Climber Runs.
Again plank position, feet on plates. Do climber runs. Simply pull your right knee up to your chest. Return to plank position. Pull your left knee up to your chest. Return to plank position. Repeat until your knees hurt.
Set 3. Butt Lifts.
You guessed it! Plank position once again. Pull your butt high in the sky and plank yourself back into position. Repeat until your abs are burning.
Once you are finished your entire body should be feeling great! Once you’re done treat yourself to ice cream or a glass of wine. I hear both help with body aches.
